Dear Slammers Families and Friends,
The Slammers have a history of developing some of the best boys and girls soccer players in the country. Many of you know the landscape of youth soccer is frequently changing. Staying at the forefront of this change is critical to the success of our players, our teams, and our club. The recent creation of the boys development academy and the ECNL league are two examples of this changing landscape.
Responding to this change, the Slammers joined a select number of elite clubs in southern California to form a new development league. Please see the below joint press release distributed on behalf of all the clubs involved. This new league will replace our current managing soccer league and will be enjoyed by all our club teams (gender and age wide).
We imagine you have many questions. Please stay tuned for further information distributed to you via the web site and your team managers.
We continue to keep the best interest of our players as the club's primary goal. We assure you this will be an exciting new move for us all.
